Where It Began

Lansattic grew from a lifelong curiosity about natural materials and the meaning we give the things we wear.

Jade, travel, Eastern philosophy and years of making and selecting jewelry have each shaped this story.

A Childhood Surrounded by Jade

I grew up surrounded by jade. Its colors, textures and quiet presence became familiar long before I began working with jewelry.

That early connection stayed with me, growing into a lasting interest in the individuality of natural stones.

2007 — A Deeper Encounter with Jade

In 2007, searching for natural jade by the river brought me closer to the material itself.

It deepened my appreciation for the journey of a stone before it reaches our hands, and for the character that makes each piece different.

Tibet — A Journey Inward

Travel through Tibet and time spent in personal contemplative practice gradually changed how I understood the objects we keep close.

A piece of jewelry could hold a memory, mark an intention or offer a quiet reminder to pause.

Shangri-LaWhere My Hands Began to Create

Before opening my jewelry shop, I spent about six months volunteering in Shangri-La, working mainly with a local elementary school and a youth hostel.

There, an art teacher taught me to weave beads by hand. Bringing color and natural materials together became a new way to express what I had been discovering.

GuangzhouTen Years Behind the Counter

That first experience of making grew into a jewelry shop in Guangzhou, where I spent approximately ten years working closely with jade, pearls, beads and other natural materials.

Selecting stones, developing jewelry designs and handling materials every day taught me to notice their subtle differences. Listening to customers taught me how personal a piece of jewelry can become.

Those years gradually shaped my understanding of jewelry and the philosophy behind Lansattic: respect for natural materials, thoughtful craftsmanship and pieces with meaning in everyday life.

The Lansattic Story

In 2015, my journey became Lansattic in the United States. A small online shop gradually grew into jewelry worn by customers around the world.

Today, Lansattic brings together jade, jadeite, pearls and natural gemstones, with collections shaped by material, individuality and meaning.

Eastern Wisdom, Reimagined

My ongoing study of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Five Elements adds another perspective to the way I think about nature, seasons, color and material.

These traditions influence my work as a jewelry designer. Balance and intention are expressed through design, cultural symbolism and the personal meaning of a piece.

From Material to JewelryStone → Hand → Jewelry

Working with a natural material begins with looking closely. The curves and luster of Baroque pearls guide the proportions of a piece, leaving room for the forms nature has already made.

The Work of the Hands

From selecting a stone to considering its setting, color and shape, each decision is part of making a piece that feels personal.

The materials retain their own character: the movement in a pearl, the texture of jade, the differences that make one stone unlike another.

Materials & Craft

Fine jade, natural jadeite, Baroque pearls and natural gemstones sit alongside fine woods and carefully selected metals.

Gold filled, gold vermeil, sterling silver and fine gold each have their place in the collection. Individual listings explain the materials used in each piece.

Materials & Jewelry Care

Our Jade Standard

Natural materials deserve honest descriptions. I select jade with attention to material identity, color, texture, translucency, craftsmanship and individual character.

Natural variations are part of what makes each piece its own. When independent gemological documentation is available for a specific piece, it is clearly noted in its listing.

Rooted in California

Lansattic is an independent jewelry studio based in California, where these experiences continue to shape what I design and curate.

Pieces are thoughtfully packaged with recyclable and reusable materials, ready to become part of another person’s story.

Behind Lansattic

My journey with jewelry is shaped by my studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Eastern philosophy, and a love of natural materials.

From jade and pearls to aromatic beads made with herbs, flowers, and fragrant woods, I am drawn to the textures, colors, and scents of nature. The philosophy of the Five Elements inspires how I bring these materials together.

Through Lansattic, I hope to share jewelry that carries personal meaning and a gentle connection to the natural world.

Lansattic Today

Lansattic brings these experiences together through fine nephrite jade, natural jadeite, Baroque pearls, natural gemstones, and aromatic botanical beads crafted from herbs, flowers, and fragrant woods.

Nature, Eastern philosophy, and the Five Elements guide the way I design and select jewelry. Each piece leaves room for the individuality of the material and the person who wears it.
