A landscape to hold in the palm of your hand. Titled 千里江山 — Mountains & Rivers, this nephrite jade carving brings mountain peaks, flowing water and a slender boat into a single, quietly composed scene.

The design works with the stone’s three natural tones: muted gray-green jade, warm honey coloring and deeper brown skin. Rather than concealing these transitions, the carving incorporates them into the landscape. On the reverse, a broad area of warm skin offers another view of the material’s individual character.
